Luckily for us, we don't have to travel across town to check out the biggest and baddest ball of all time. Despite the fact that the city is on our doorstep, the ball is still the best place to be for New Year's Eve. After all, who wouldn't want to ring in the new year with a hefty helping of champagne? We have to be careful not to over do it, though. We also have to ensure that our libations don't get ruined in the process. To help with this, we've devised a list of do's and don'ts. This includes a no cell phone rule of thumb, a mandatory itinerary, and a strict policy on booze. Fortunately, we have a very supportive spouse and a very supportive boss. Our newfound freedom allows us to actually do some of the things that we have been putting off since our big move.
Fortunately, the aforementioned tidbit isn't confined to the confines of your cubicle. Of course, you'll want to get there on time to avoid the stampeding pack of unruly revelers, but the novelty can be catered to on a budget. After all, who wants to pay a ton of cash for a swanky night out? Plus, you won't have to worry about getting stuck in the worst part of town.
